As a trainee solicitor in Holmes & Hills' Private Client Department, Fiona offers specialist advice on contentious probate and trusts. Working closely with partner Rachel Shaw, Fiona assists to provide guidance on inheritance disputes, claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, and general Wills and Probate queries.
Fiona takes a personable approach with her clients, ensuring she is building a strong rapport to ensure smoother and more seamless transactions.
Prior to joining Holmes & Hills Solicitors, Fiona achieved a first-class honours degree in LLB Law at Staffordshire University. She then completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) combined with a Master of Laws (LLM) at Birmingham City University, achieving a distinction. Fiona also has previous experience working in family law, with a focus on legal aid and domestic abuse cases, as well as residential conveyancing and shared ownership transactions.
Fiona joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors in 2024 and is based at the firm's Sudbury office.
