Holmes & Hills is pleased to announce that two of our trainee solicitors have qualified into their respective teams, marking further growth for both the Family Law and Planning Law Departments. Bronwyn Jenkins has qualified into the Family Law Department as a Family Law solicitor, and Millie Cook has qualified into the Planning Law Department.
Bronwyn's qualification into the Family Law Department is a welcome addition to an already rapidly growing team. She has been an integral part of the department since joining as a trainee solicitor in 2022, working closely with senior solicitors on a variety of family law matters, including complex financial remedy proceedings and private children law.
Bronwyn’s personal yet professional approach has made her a valued member of the team. She is committed to helping clients navigate challenging family law issues with a constructive mindset, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those she represents. Her qualification solidifies the Family Law Department's continued expansion and further strengthens our ability to deliver expert legal services to our clients.
Meanwhile, Millie Cook has qualified as a solicitor into Holmes & Hills' renowned Planning Law Department, a team widely recognised as one of the largest and fastest growing departments of specialist planning law solicitors in the country. Having started her training contract in 2022, Millie has worked closely with Partner, Michael Harman, gaining experience in all aspects of planning law, from strategic planning advice to contentious planning matters.
Her dedication and knowledge have been instrumental in supporting the department's diverse client base, including developers, property owners, and local authorities. With her qualification, Millie further enhances the strength of the Planning Law team, which has seen significant growth and independently recognised as a leading source of expert advice and representation by Legal 500 UK and Chambers & Partners UK.
Carol Toulson, Partner and Head of the Family Law Department, expressed her thoughts about the department's ongoing expansion: "We are pleased to have Bronwyn officially join us as a qualified solicitor. Her commitment to her clients and her work ethic have already made a significant impact on our team, and we look forward to seeing her continue to grow."
Michael Harman, Partner (specialist CPO solicitor in the Planning Law Department), shared similar sentiments regarding Millie’s qualification: "Millie has been an excellent trainee, and we are excited to have her join the Planning Law Department. Millie’s qualification into the Department further strengthens our position as one of the country’s leading teams of planning law specialists."
Michael in his role as Training Partner further commented that “Trainees are, and always have been, an important part of Holmes & Hills’ present and future success. The firm prides itself in offering our Trainees the best training experience possible, not only for the professional development of those Trainees but also to secure best advice and best service to our clients now and into the future. Both Bronwyn and Millie have worked hard over their Training Contract and, on behalf of the firm, I offer them both huge congratulations for their qualification as solicitor.”
