Holmes & Hills Solicitors continue growth in Family Law Department

Holmes & Hills Solicitors are pleased to announce the recruitment of solicitors Kuba Kubiszyn and Sarah Holbrook into its expanding Family Law Department.

Kuba joined Holmes and Hills in October 2023, having recently qualified as a solicitor at another local law firm. Kuba is a member of Resolution, a membership organisation whose members drive to resolve Family Law issues in a constructive way, and therefore Kuba aims to support the clients he works with to reach a more amicable outcome. Moreover, Kuba prides himself on his transparent and friendly approach towards clients when dealing with often difficult cases. Kuba speaks Polish, enabling him to converse and support clients in their native language, if Polish.

Sarah joined Holmes & Hills in January 2024 after leaving a large regional law firm in the South of Essex. Sarah has nearly a decade of experience in Family Law and has been a qualified solicitor for over four years. Previous clients have commented that they feel reassured by Sarah’s calm and supportive nature during emotional times.

In recent times, the Holmes & Hills Family Law Department has expanded significantly, having gone from 1 partner, 2 solicitors and 1 trainee solicitor to 1 partner, 1 associate, 4 solicitors and 2 trainee solicitors in early 2024 with the recruitment of Sarah.

Furthermore, in Autumn 2023, the Family Law Department were also rewarded with their best ever Legal 500 rankings, with the accreditation researchers highlighting the Department’s ability to deal with ‘high-value divorces, including those with business assets, and complex child access arrangements’. Partner and head of Department Carol Toulson was named as a Leading Individual in the practice area, as well as associate Alex Garrett being named as a Rising Star.
