The annual Holmes & Hills Solicitors charity bike ride which was held on Sunday 10th September has raised £6366 for two charities; The British Heart Foundation and Abbeyfield (Braintree, Bocking & Felsted). The money raised will be split evenly between the two charities.
The bike ride was attended by over 300 riders who could take part in an 11, 26 or 53 mile route, raising money through entrance fees and sponsorship. As well as the riders, the event also depends on a number of volunteers and local businesses who donated their time to help support the event.
The event which occurs annually raises money for charities – with the charity being chosen by staff at Holmes & Hills.
Commenting on the money raised for charity, Mark Cornell, Managing Partner at Holmes and Hills Solicitors said: “We are incredibly pleased to have raised over £6000 for two charities; The British Heart Foundation and Abbeyfield (Braintree, Bocking & Felsted). Both charities are incredibly close to the hearts of many of our staff. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who attended the bike ride and those who gave their time to help support the event.”
The next Holmes & Hills charity bike ride will take place on Sunday 9th September 2018.
