We were delighted to be part of the first ever Coggeshall Food & Drink Festival hosted by West Street Vineyard in Coggeshall at the weekend. Staff from Holmes & Hills had a fantastic time at the event, which was filled with a huge variety of local food and drinks producers, live music, refreshing local brews and chef demos.
Our famous dessert recipe books were given out to food lovers as well as delicious tasting samples, homemade by our staff. Visitors also had the chance to win a hamper, they were asked to guess how many sultanas were used to make the Ploughman’s Chutney, a product of Nick's Wonky Label Preservesone of the many exhibitors at the event.
A total of 195 people entered the competition, many of whom picked the correct answer - A. 21. The winner was picked at random, and the lucky winner is James Eley! He was presented his prize by Cherie Nield, our Licensed Conveyancer at Holmes & Hills Solicitors in Coggeshall.
On accepting his prize, James who helps running a well-established family business in Braintree said “I was absolutely delighted when I had the phone call to say I had won, I haven’t won anything before!”
Thank you to everyone who dropped by our stand and entered into our competition, we hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.
