Holmes & Hills Solicitors in Halstead has been busy as usual, but this time instead of the team being busy at their vibrant office on Trinity Street, they were in action at the Gosfield Fete on the 4th July.
Holmes & Hills Solicitors has always been a proud sponsor for the Fete in the past years; our team was thrilled to be able to join this year’s fete for the very first time. They enjoyed all the entertainment throughout the day and it was lovely to mingle with local residents.
Visitors also had the chance to enter The Holmes & Hills Win a Hamper competition. We asked ‘What is the population of Gosfield Village’, the correct answer is A. 1362, many people have answered the question correctly, the lucky winner was picked out at random and it’s Mr Andrew Tucker, a Gosfield resident.
After 42 years of teaching in Chelmsford, Mr Tucker has recently retired and is now involved with teacher training; he was also a Governor at Gosfield School. His prize was presented to him at our Halstead office by Richard Harris, Partner & Head of Property Team and Vanessa Santomauro, Solicitor in Private Client Team. After finding out he was the lucky winner, Mr Tucker said: ‘To say that I was both surprised and delighted to hear that I had won a hamper would be the understatement of the year’! He also brought along a lovely message from his wife who wanted to praise the Holmes & Hills event and competition being well organised and very community focused.
