Attend this Holmes & Hills Solicitors event covering lease extensions and find out about the legal process involved in completing a statutory lease extension, their value (to a vendor and purchaser) and how they can be undertaken in such a way that the process does not stifle or prolong a sale.
Holmes & Hills Solicitors will be delivering two events, specifically designed for estate agents, property management agents and letting agents across Essex and Suffolk, in February 2017.
Led by Keeley Livingstone, Head of Holmes & Hills Solicitors' Residential Property Team, and assisted by Michael Harman (Associate, Planning and Development Team) the talks aim to provide essential legal information to property agents on extending a lease and the process involved in doing so under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
By attending the Seminar you and your colleagues will:
If there is leasehold property stock in the area covered by your agency, it is important you and your colleagues are aware of the statutory lease extension process and how this can be operated so as not to create barriers to a sale. Extending a lease need not necessarily delay the sale process. Further, extending a lease pre-sale will add value to your client’s property.
Holmes & Hills Solicitors specialise in undertaking statutory lease extensions and provide these services to clients in relation to property across England but predominantly in Essex and Suffolk, as well as in London.
