In May, Sudbury business leaders gathered at The Mill Hotel in Sudbury for the return of the Holmes & Hills Sudbury Business Lunch after a hiatus of the event since 2019, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Holmes & Hills solicitors in Sudbury were delighted to be able to host this event again, welcoming back a large group of business leaders from the locality of Sudbury to hear from James Cartlidge MP for South Suffolk and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Justice Department (and Assistant Government Whip). The well-attended event saw James talk generally about his current projects and go on to discuss a wide range of issues affecting businesses in Sudbury and the surrounding areas that the guests represented.
Moreover, the Sudbury Business Lunch provided an opportunity for the business leaders in attendance to ask questions to James Cartlidge, MP, covering topics such as the East Anglian Green pylon project, as well as the rising prices for both; petrol and electricity, among other topics of business interest to the audience. Many businesses are facing critical and uncertain times given the changes in the political, economic, and business landscape and this meant that there were many questions from the guests.
Businesses represented at the networking event included accountants, commercial bankers, estate agents, financial advisors, solicitors, and representatives from companies from the construction, manufacturing, and educational sectors - all based in Sudbury or the surrounding areas.
The Sudbury Business Lunch event organised by Holmes & Hills team of commercial solicitors, became one of the leading networking events in Sudbury prior to the pandemic, attracting owners and directors of some of the area’s most prevalent and thriving businesses. This recent event saw a successful return for Holmes & Hills Solicitors with many guests keen to attend the next event. Holmes & Hills Sudbury Business Lunch will be back in 2023, if you are a business leader or owner in Sudbury or the locality and are interested in being on the guest list for the event, please contact Rebecca Webber.
