Rachel works with professionals, business owners, and individuals to advise on litigation disputes.
As a partner in Holmes & Hills' Private Client Department, Rachel offers specialist advice on contentious probate and trusts, as well as contractual and professional negligence disputes, claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, and general civil litigation matters.
Rachel has specialised in dispute resolution throughout her career. She is known for her personable and empathetic manner, pragmatic and persistent approach to dealing with clients' matters, and she prides herself in building a strong rapport with her clients.
Rachel is a member of the Contentious Trusts Association and in 2022, Rachel qualified as an associate member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). She has served on trustee boards of the local Citizens Advice Bureau and is a committee member of the Eastgate Ward Community Association in her hometown of Bury St Edmunds. She also sits on the executive committee of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce. She is a trustee of The Bridge Project, a Sudbury-based charity whose mission is to support vulnerable members of the community. The Bridge Project is Holmes & Hills' charity of the year.
Rachel is based and manages the Holmes & Hills Solicitors' Sudbury office but is able to service clients across all of Holmes & Hills' offices.
