Amelia is a trainee solicitor within Holmes & Hills' Private Client Department, assisting specialist contentious probate solicitor Rachel Shaw.
Amelia supports with various civil claims relating to contentious probate and trust matters, including challenges to the validity of wills and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. She also works closely with partner, Mark Cornell, assisting with Court of Protection cases and general probate matters.
Amelia prides herself on her approachable, friendly, and warm nature. She ensures that she provides an empathetic ear to her clients during challenging times.
Prior to joining Holmes & Hills Solicitors as part of the firm’s 2023 trainee intake, Amelia achieved a first-class honours degree in LLB Law at the University of Essex. She then completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) combined with a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law, achieving a distinction.
Amelia is based at Holmes & Hills’ Sudbury Office.
