Alicia works with main contractors, sub-contractors, and contract managers; supporting in the making and defending of claims related to construction contracts and projects alongside Holmes & Hill's Division of specialist construction solicitors.
As a trainee solicitor, Alicia works closely with the senior members of the Legal 500 recommended Construction Division, assisting on both the contentious and non-contentious legal matters dealt with.
Having worked for 5 years in the construction industry, she has experience ranging from administrative support to commercial quantity surveying during which she was predominantly based on site for large commercial projects across London, including the iconic Battersea Power Station.
Alicia studied Law at Liverpool John Moores University graduating in 2014. In 2021 she went on to complete the LPC MSc in Law, Business, and Management with Distinction. She has worked in several legal support roles, most recently as a paralegal for a large construction consultancy firm. Other highlights include international work experience in Dublin and paralegal work for a law firm in Sydney.
Alicia joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors in July 2023 and is based at the firm's regional head office, the A12 Commercial Hub in Colchester (Marks Tey).
