Ellie works internally with Holmes & Hills' partners, managers, and employees in support and delivery of the firm's strategic people agenda.
As Head of HR and a senior associate, Ellie’s focus is managing and developing the HR team, driving forward projects that will enhance the employee experience at Homes & Hills, and retaining and attracting talent for the future growth of the firm. Ellie’s full remit covers; talent and performance management, designing policies and procedures, employee relations and engagement, and managing and assessing the firm's rewards and benefits schemes.
Ellie is able to use her previous experience from various different sectors and sizes of businesses, along with the skills she has learned over her time in HR to provide pragmatic, commercial, and people-sensitive assistance and advice. She is a generalist HR professional with an approachable and empathetic approach and is, therefore, able to provide support on the full spectrum of HR activities.
Ellie completed a post-graduate HR qualification in her early career through the CIPD (the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) and has worked in HR since 2004.
Ellie is based at Holmes & Hills Solicitors' regional Head Office - the A12 Commercial Hub - in Marks Tey, Colchester.
